SCIENCE LAB
The Mount Carmel English Medium HSS, East Kallada, has a well equiped Science Laboratory for students of high school and higher secondary school
classes to do scientific experiments under the guidance of trained teachers.
This broadly aims to promote scientific thinking of students and to explore new ideas and enhance scientific awareness.
LIBRARY
Libraries are the torch bearers of culture, education and civilization. In order to boost up knowledge we have an excellent Library.
The school library is equipped with reference books of varied well-known publishers, fictional and non fictional books of all language,
reference books of all subjects and a variety of magazines for children and teachers alike. It has a vast collection of CDs in the CD Library,
with travelogues, science projects, Malayalam Language helpers, Nursery Rhymes, Hindi Language CDs, Mathematical Projects etc. The Library
is attached with a reading room so that the students can utilize their valuable time for referring for their projects as well as to clarify
their doubts with the reference books and reading magazines which are not allowed to be taken out of the Library.
HOSTEL FOR BOYS & GIRLS
Mount Carmel English Medium HSS,East Kallada, is committed to providing a safe and conducive living environment for our students, and to fulfill this commitment,
we offer separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Our well-maintained hostels are equipped with modern amenities and are designed to ensure
the comfort and security of our students. The boys' and girls' hostels are separate entities with dedicated staff to oversee the unique needs of each gender.
Each hostel provides a nurturing and supportive atmosphere, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the residents. Our aim is to
create a home away from home, where students can focus on their studies, personal growth, and extracurricular activities in a secure and supervised setting.
The hostel facilities at Mount Carmel English Medium HSS,East Kallada, are an integral part of our commitment to holistic education, ensuring that students not only excel
academically but also develop into responsible and well-rounded individuals.
COMPUTER LAB
Since technology plays a major role in 21st century education, Mount Carmel English Medium HSS,East Kallada has designed a computer lab to provide the students
a space to work on skills those are directly or indirectly related to classroom curriculum and to familiarise students to manage information and communication. Presently
we are updating the lab with the facility of interactive SMART white board which is a touch sensitive device using SMART technology that helps teachers and students
to create dynamic lessons on screen like activities, assessments, videos and digital tools to facilitate sophisticated studies.
MOUNT CARMEL ALUMNI
Mount Carmel English Medium HSS,East Kallada, is always open to welcome its former students to the campus. All the students who have completed atleast one
academic year in the school are eligible to join the Alumni. Yearly family gathering is expected on every December for sharing their experiences, achievements and to
constructively discuss on the educational uplift of the school.
