Mount Carmel English Medium HSS is an Educational Institution in Mathilakom, East Kallada, Kollam is being efficiently run by Mount Carmel Asramam and Mount Carmel Convent, East Kallada. It was established in 1983 by Late. HG. Mathews Mar Coorilose Metropolitan (Later HH Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews II Catholicose of the East). Mathilakom is famous for its scenic beauty having ten acres of land surrounding Chittumala Lake. The total strength of the school is around 1200 and there are 55 faculty members.
